The closest village Greve-in-Chianti is just 4.5 km. this is the heart of Chianti Classico where one can find all the shopping and the famous Saturday market.

The villa is a large free standing house with a western facing terrace for maximum daily sun, with panoramic views and a large pool that is shared with the adjacent apartments. In the villa there are three large double bed rooms all with their own bath ensuite. On the ground floor there are two living rooms opening to the large terrace and the covered pergola for out door dining.

All furnishings date from the 17/1800's. The formal dining room opens to the terrace adjacent to a large country kitchen. A housekeeper is available for 2 hours each day and for any extras. Internet and telephone access is also available.

On the property there is a small farm house, with two small apartments and a restaurant for the guests or private functions. There is ample parking inside the villa's locked gate.

The villa is located just 18km from the historic center of Florence and it is surrounded with beautiful woods where one can enjoy quiet walks. Villa Collegale produces it own balsamic vinegar, wine, olive oil and farm products, that are available to the guests in the small shop just across the drive adjacent to the little restaurant.
