Casa La Rota is a grand old farm house on the Fontodi Estate, about 2.5 kilometers from Panzano-in-Chianti traveling along state road no. 222 the famous "Wine Road" toward Siena. It is set among the vineyards with views to Panzano and the Castello di Rampolla in the famous Conca d'Oro region of Chianti Classico.

The main house has been divided into two elegant living quarters Il Gelso - (Casa #1) and Il Ciliegio - (Casa #2), with all modern facilities including central heating, telephone, TV, and electric household appliances. The large garden surrounding the house has a swimming pool and barbecue, and views of Panzano Castle and the parish church.

Adjoining the house is the old barn which has been converted into a particularly luminous apartment La Capanna. Because of its spacious and very private garden terrace it is well suited to lovers of the open air.

The rooms are decorated and furnished with carefully chosen hand crafted Tuscan country-style furniture. The peaceful and refined atmosphere of Casa La Rota is ideal for those who appreciate the quiet of the countryside and the beauty of Tuscan landscapes.
