Villa Pecille in the Conca d’Oro

The rambling 17th century farmhouse Pecille is located on the Fontodi Estate at the periphery of the village of Panzano-in-Chianti. It overlooks the famous Conca d’Oro, Chianti’s best wine region. Pecille is ideally located halfway between Florence and Siena. From Pecille it is a 5-minute walk into the hamlet of Panzano where there are shops and restaurants and a ten-minute drive to the town of Greve which is the heart of Chianti Classico.

The ancient farmhouse has been restored and divided into five spacious apartments which you can explore below. Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, SAT-TV, heat and air-conditioning, a private garden, large shared pool and beautiful views. All apartments are handsomely furnished in an elegant country style with 17-19th century furniture.

There is a large common patio area and meeting rooms ideal for groups. There is also a guest laundry room. Tennis courts are available at the Fontodi Winery.

La Loggia at Pecille

La Loggia is the largest apartment. It is situated on the upper floor of the villa. It has four double bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. There is a large country kitchen, a terrace at the back of the house for outdoor dining, a large dining room and living room/library with views of the valley. There is also a large furnished outdoor terrace/loggia. La Loggia has five common rooms for use by the guests. Access to Panzano is through a gate situated on the back of the property. This apartment is located on one floor. There are stairs leading up to the apartment entrance. La Loggia sleeps 8.
